What is a Trauma Informed Therapist?

A trauma informed therapist understands the impact of trauma on the body and mind, recognizes the signs in clients, knows how to facilitate recovery, and practices in a way that reduces the likelihood of further perpetuating those traumas. I make your safety and empowerment my top priority.

My name is Carol Korenowski and I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, and a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I have served and supported youth and adults for over 10 years offering therapy, advocacy, education, assessment, and support.
