Service Description

Therapy Alberta is teaming up with Recovery Alberta to offer a Free 6-Week Online Youth Mental Health Program tailored for both parents and professionals. Our live Wednesday evening sessions will walk you through the most pressing concerns facing young people today. You’ll walk away with practical tools, evidence-based resources, and the confidence to have meaningful conversations with the children and youth in your life. What You’ll Learn (February 5 – March 12, 2025, 6:30–8:00 PM) February 5 – Substance Use & Youth Recognize early signs of substance use and learn how to have open, supportive conversations. February 12 – Vaping & Youth Understand the health risks of vaping, explore common devices, and gain conversation strategies. February 19 – Videogaming & Youth Identify healthy vs. problematic gaming habits and discover ways to foster a balanced lifestyle. February 26 – Anxiety and Youth Learn how to spot anxiety symptoms, support resilience, and provide tools for stress management. March 5 – D-Stress Develop a personal stress reduction action plan and understand the physical/mental effects of stress. March 12 – Mental Health Literacy Boost your knowledge of mental health essentials to better support youth at home and in your community. See you there!
