Who are we?

We are a diverse, inclusive, and socially conscious team of Alberta therapists committed to improving individual and community mental health. We are so glad you’re here.

My name is Carol and I am the owner and founder of Therapy Alberta. I am honored to gather a community of diverse mental health professionals who share my passion for helping people.

I am an advocate for all people receiving help. No one has to do life or struggle alone. It’s okay to need help, it’s okay to ask for help, and it’s okay to get help.

Therapy is one way to make life a little easier and a little better. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you. It simply means some things have happened to you and you are not satisfied with where you are at now. We can all use a little help sometimes, whether we need a helping hand to lift us when we’ve fallen, guide us when we’re lost, or boost us when we want to climb higher.

I want you to have a dignified, respectful, effective, and safe experience getting help. We are a community of regulated health professionals committed to meeting your mental, emotional, physical, and relational needs. We are compassionate, trauma-informed relational therapists, and we make your safety and empowerment our top priority. A trauma informed therapist understands the impact of trauma on the body and mind, recognizes the signs in clients, knows how to facilitate recovery, and practices in a way that reduces the likelihood of causing further harm.

We want you to find peace, healing, and a healthy relationship with yourself and others.
